Today the Spanish Wells School is struggling.
Enrollment is up almost 50% due to additional students from the Abacos. There is a shortage of meals for many of the children (as well as their parents) and school supplies are dwindling or non-existing. The people of Spanish Wells have done so much and continue to do so. However, just to sustain the level of care and address basic needs, outside help is needed.
The purpose of this communication is to solicit your support in aiding the Spanish Wells school and it’s students.
As the heart-warming stories of rescues and aid come to light, our faith in human kind becomes restored, we are all in this together.
The school is busting at the seams. The children’s stories, along with their parents challenges of relocation after having lost everything exemplifies the spirit and the power of “the human condition” overcoming devastating circumstances and odds.
It is with great pleasure that we introduce the school and the community who have stepped forward with open arms and open hearts.
Thanks so much!
